I’m super excited to talk to you guys about my new favorite beauty spot in Denver! If you follow me on Instagram (and if you don’t, come on over and say what’s up) you’ve seen me spending a lot of time there (check out my IG highlights if you missed it!). From makeup to microblading, the girl bosses, Raquel and Ahmana (above) and co-founders of Mooi Studio are the best!
Their cute beauty studio in the Highlands is seriously Instagramable. It’s glam but warm and inviting, you won’t be sad about spending time there getting beautified. Ahmana and Raquel are so sweet and both women have so much experience in the beauty world I have complete trust in them! Not to mention they’ve won awards from the Denver Westword and The Knot!
I have tried an array of their services so let me break it down for ya.
MICROBLADING
Starting with my absolute favorite, life changing service, microblading. Not to be confused with microneedling or dermaplaning…so many micro, planing and bladings to keep up with haha. So if you are unfamiliar basically microblading is a technique used to fill in your eyebrows to look full and filled in, in a natural way that makes it look like you just have great brows. It. is. amazing. It is also scary because it’s semi-permanent, lasting for up to two years, so you want to make sure whoever is doing it really has a great eye for brow shape and detail. They map out your brows prior to starting so you’ll have a good idea of how they will look. In my opinion it’s worth every penny.
LASH LIFT & TINT
My other must have service. You might have seen my post about my first lash lift, or my IG stories (under the beauty highlight to see before and afters) about what an amazing difference a lash lift can make. I know that lash extensions are all the rage right now but if those aren’t for you, I think you will LOVE a lift and tint. If I could just have my brow, my lash lift and tint and a spray tan, I’m a happy girl who feels like she can wake up and go!
MAKEUP
Their makeup skills are on point. If you need makeup for an event or you are getting married look no further. Before I went on The Bachelor I went to Ahmana and got all her secret tips that I could use to look my best on camera. She has even attended the makeup guru, Makeup by Mario’s Masterclass. DERMAPLANING
If you haven’t heard of dermaplaing by now, where have you been? Lol! Exfoliating has become a staple in my beauty routine and dermaplaing takes care of that and gets all the peach fuzz of which I just like the way it looks and feels but also my makeup goes on flawlessly.
Beyond dermaplaing they also offer peels and other amazing services your skin will love.
FACIALS
Raquel gives one amazing facial. I opted for the Detox Facial because it felt like a good spring cleaning for my skin but how great does their Date Night Ready facial sound? Need to try.
