Happy New Year!!!
I hope you all have had such a great start to 2017! I’m sorry I’ve been M.I.A. for the past week. I’ve been in Los Angeles visiting my friends. My original plan, as it always is, was to share my experience with you all via Insta, Insta stories and Snapchat (username Amberwilk2) but I got here and staring spending time with friends and realized that what I really needed was to disconnect for a little while. Take some time to catch up with my good friends, some of whom I haven’t seen in almost a year, and just BE. Be present and engaged and start the new year off right. I also got sick while I was in LA which was a very clear indication that I needed to slow the f* down. Sometimes we get so caught up in the go go go, get it all done that we don’t listen to our bodies. It’s okay and necessary to slow down and take time to take care of yourself. Although it sucked to get sick at the end of my trip I think it was actually perfect timing because it gave me the opportunity to reset and come back to Denver ready to really start the New Year.
