Diamonds in the Sheets

Sooo this post is different than my usual and perhaps a little out of my comfort zone. Not that I don’t love feeling sexy or celebrating my womanhood, because I very much do, but putting it out there on the internet for everyone to see is a little scary. I would never take this bracelet off if it were mine. I love the way the two prong shows very little metal so it looks like the diamonds are floating.

The Diamond Opera Necklace (25.30 total carat weight of diamonds) is SO glamorous and therefore another favorite. Its a show stopper. These beautiful lingerie pieces are from WOLFSBANE Intimates.Anh, the owner, is another girl boss who started the company in her spare time, hand making each piece she designs. Not only are they gorgeous, they are quality. All of the lingerie is adjustable, making them flattering and feel like they are made just for you.Diamonds are always a good gift for the lady in your life, but when it comes to finding a thoughtful and unique gift for your guy, it’s not always that easy. Taking sexy boudoir photos is such a meaningful gift that he will love and cherish forever. You may be taking the photos for him but you will definitely get something out of it too! There is something so empowering and liberating about getting comfortable in your own skin and embracing your sexy. It gave me a confidence boost and made me super motivated to eat healthy and workout so I felt more confident than ever, and the jewelry didn’t hurt either 😉

I was lucky enough to work with Emilyanne Photography who is so fun and warm and makes you feel comfortable right away. She is also THE reason I look so good in these photos. She came in with such a clear vision, helped me pose and coached me through it (i.e. “lift up, arch that back, pop that booty out”). I completely trusted her to make this super sexy but in the classiest way possible. She was over flowing with ideas and was open to mine as well, a true dream to work with. Emilyanne made me feel like such a rock star that I left the shoot being like, “Okay, where are my wings because I am such a Victoria’s Secret Angel.” haha!

I couldn’t get over how glitzy this Seven Row Micro Pave Diamond Tennis Bracelet (9.35 total carat weight of diamonds) was. The way the rows fall apart and fall back together up and down your arm really shows off the sparkle.

Please pause and take a moment to admire this INSANE ruby ring! I mean, wow.

I must say, this Two Prong Diamond Necklace (13 total carat weight of diamonds) was my favorite piece of this entire boudoir shoot. It is nearly impossible to pick because I’d be happy to get any of them as a Valentine’s Day gift, but this beauty really did steal my heart. I mean look at it! Look at those glistening diamonds just floating around my neck!! Breathtaking.

Kelsey Luciano Productions is the talented little lady behind this video. Kelsey is also suuuuper sweet. She too had a vision and talked me through specific shots, but for the most part I hardly noticed I was being filmed. She is amazing at catching real life moments and making them look even more beautiful. She truly is a visual storyteller and I couldn’t recommend her enough for any of life’s moments that need documenting.

We shot at The Oxford Hotel, a historic hotel located in the heart of Lower Downtown Denver. Its old school glamour and classic luxurious vibe provide the perfect atmosphere for a sexy Valentine’s Day vacation or stay-cation. Head out to dinner at one of the many great Denver restaurants and on your way in stop by The Oxford Hotel Cruise Room for the best martini’s in Denver. I can personally attest to that statement. You could also make a trip to The Oxford Club’s spa, which has been featured as the best by The Rocky Mountain News, 5280 and Westword, for a couple’s massage or an herbal steam.I hope this post inspires you to embrace your sexy and step outside of your comfort zone.
