ENDLESS SUMMER WITH BANANA REPUBLIC

I know everyone keeps saying this, but I cannot believe we are already in August and summer will be over before you know it! 🙁 I will say I am looking forward to my favorite season, fall but for now I plan on soaking up the last bit of summer I can. My life has been super hectic the past couple of months because I got a new job as a radio personality on Alice 105.9 midday show, Carson & Amber! Its been a whirl wind starting in a new profession but I feel so grateful for the opportunity and I absolutely loving it! I am trying to really just go with the flow and not overthink things. I think that’s a great way to approach fashion too, especially when it comes to your summer style

I prefer my summer style to be effortless and comfortable! Summer is always so busy it’s nice to have pieces that you can rely on and go back to over and over again. I love shopping at Banana Republic for these items because they are always classic transition easily from season to season. These buckles sandals from Banana Republic have been my go to sandal as of late.

I’m obsessed with the buckle detail on both straps, the chunky heel adds more support so they are comfortable and the color goes with everything. I get so many compliments on them when I wear them out.

I paired them with jeans and a fun top for a casual event I was headed to at The Nickel in Hotel Teatro but they look soooo cute with dresses and skirts too!

A lightweight sweatshirt is a must in any wardrobe. I LOVE this one from Banana Republic for obvious reasons 😉 and because it can be dressed up or down. Keep it cute and casual for happy hour by pairing it with denim or throw it on with joggers for an athleisure look for errands. The light grey and baby pink are the perfect color combo.

It’s the perfect item to pack in your suitcase for a trip because it’s great for layering, perfect for a plane ride and just good to have on hand.

What’s your summer style?

Always,

Amber
