It’s the season of coming together and no matter where you are going for the holidays, it’s always best to arrive in style. I’ve teamed up with Banana Republic to share a couple of stylish winter looks.

When I saw this leather shirt/jacket I thought it was such a unique piece that could be worn layered up like a jacket or buttoned up as a shirt. It was a nice change from my usual moto jacket. For this look I went for layering and wore it like a jacket with a cami and lace bralet peeking out from underneath for an added layer and for more of a statement. How cute would this shirt be with a graphic T-shirt, some leggings and some sneakers for a more laid back look?! Don’t be surprised to see me sporting it that way in the future.

Who doesn’t love a cozy sweater dress?! After all, they are a winter staple! Banana Republic has always been a go-to for me when it comes to buying sweaters, their quality is so great and you can always find amazing deals and sweater dresses are no different. This one is warm, cozy and comfortable but still chic and a nice way to switch it up from the typical jeans and a sweater uniform during the cold months. The sweater dress is actually a very versatile piece that can be styled so many ways, whether you layer it with a great coat or moto jacket, add statement jewelry piece or an amazing bootie you will always be on trend!
With this look I went with a bronze bootie and a great gold belt. The dress was on the looser side (I’m wearing an xs), so it could be a little overwhelming on someone petite, like me so the belt helped cinch the waist to be a little more flattering.
For a different vibe try a faux fur with a great necklace and high heels for a night out on the town. If you’re looking for a more casual vibe try pairing it with a jean jacket and a combat boot for a day time look.
Truly the sweater dress is an amazing classic piece that you can wear year after year and always have amazing look.
Thank you Banana Republic for sponsoring this post.
Always,
Amber
