The Best Places To Eat in Cabo San Lucas 2017

My family and I have been going to Cabo for years now, my parents have a time share and it’s always been an easy and go-to vacation spot for us. This last time we went we noticed some big changes happening in Cabo. Cabo is really expanding and has been opening some beautiful, new resorts and restaurants. We tend to eat at our favorite local spots when we go and this time we decided to step out of our usuals and try lots of new places and I was SUPER impressed! Here is a list of some of my new faves that I will definitely be going back to.

Comal

Holy wow! This place is STUNNING! I could not get over the contemporary space with amazing ocean views, sleek decor, cozy ambience with great music to set really the mood. Comal has a modern Latin menu and uses organic, local ingredients which is right up my alley! I’m a big fan of unique cocktails and Comal has an amazing bar menu. I know Mezcal is an acquired taste but if you happen to like it you must try their Chilenito cocktail. Delish! I also suggest the Cucumber Tomato Salad and the Roasted Chicken (it’s worth the wait).

Manta at The Cape Hotel

The thing that sticks out to me the most about Manta, is the incredible view. They cleverly light the ocean at night so that you can see the waves crashing on the rocks. It was truly mesmerizing and made it such a romantic setting. The avocado soufflé that they bring for the table is so delicious, as is Sashimi and the tres leches cake is unbelievable.

SUR Beach House

SUR is a beautiful restaurant that looks over a relaxed beach lounge where they have live music. The live music definitely adds so much to the vibe of the place. The food was so good, try the kale watermelon salad and the tuna tar tar tostada is to die for.

Toro

Toro has such a cool vibe and trendy decor. Order the Golden Margarita, the empanadas and a steak. The steak literally melts in your mouth and is so flavorful. There is an outside patio with a dj where you can also hang out after dinner.

Mi Casa

I have to admit, we’ve been going to Mi Casa for years but I just couldn’t leave it off the list. If you are looking for a good, authentic Mexican restaurant, this is it. Good food, mariachi band, vibrant decor and a fun gift shop! Margaritas are strong and delicious, the tortilla soup is The. Best. I’ve ever had and the rest of the menu is great, traditional Mexican cuisine. Can’t go wrong here!

Always,
