I don’t know if it’s just that I’m older and more interested in skin care or that we have social media to see what everyone is doing at home on a Monday night watching The Bachelor but it seems to me that face masks, eye gels, anything that can make you look hydrated or younger is more popular than ever! There are so many options out there and I’m making my way through testing them out. I happen to love the Patchology Eye Gels and was dying to try more of their products so I was so excited to partner up with them and give the Night Gels, FlashMasque and Lip Renewals.
Let’s start with my favorite, the Restoring Night Eye Gels. I immediately see a difference in my eyes after wearing these. I’ve been using them about 3-4 nights a week and actually leave these on a little longer than the recommended 5 minutes. They are soothing and feel great on the under eye. After I take them off I rub the remainder of the serum into my eye area. The ingredients including peptides and retinol are amazing for helping with anti-aging! I can say I do see a difference in my fine lines, hydration and I look rested! I’m a big fan of these because the my eye area is one of the places that I have noticed the most fine lines (hellllooo crows feet). I love the shape of the gels because they get all the way under and around my eye area. Overall these are the bomb.
Now about the FlashMasque. I have to say I haven’t really been a huge fan of many sheet masks that I have tried but this one I was honestly amazed by! Seriously after this mask my skin looked glowy, dewy, soft and plump. I will 100% be purchasing more of these and using them weekly because it was that good. I did this at night before bed and again left it on longer than the recommended time and rubbed the remainder of the serum in my skin.
My lips are dry living in Colorado and I’m always doing scrubs and balms to try and keep them from looking flaky or cracked, especially since I use a lot of lipstick. I was really excited to try the The Lip Renewal Gels and while I do think that they are good, I can’t say they are great. They smell lovely but feel a little weird on and if you get any in your mouth…yuck. I definitely notice that my lips feel hydrated and smooth right after but those effects don’t last all that long. I’ve been using these while I do my hair or eye makeup before I put on lipstick and like I said I do notice a difference right away but you have to use them everyday.
