Banana Republic Moves You

SHOP THIS LOOK

Spring hasn’t quite been in full swing here in Denver. We’ve had some nice days mixed with some cold ones. So I’ve been taking full advantage when the weather is good and wearing all my dresses. This one is such a light, flow fabric AND pockets! Woohoo!

The flutter sleeve details is so cute and I also like that the leopard print is petite.

These lace up shoes are way too cute and pretty darn comfortable for a heel. I tend to go for such a large heel height that it’s kind of nice to switch it up. I went for a whole blue an white look here, but these make such a statement and would be the perfect pop of color to so many spring outfits.

Banana Republic wants to know what moves you. I love this question and it’s so different for everyone. In my last post I talked a lot about what moves me emotionally, but physically what gets me going is knowing that I am capable of being active…not everyone is.

We are so blessed to be able to move our healthy body and keeping it healthy with exercise should always be a priority. The older I get, the more my perspective on health changes. Health is not something that is guaranteed, it’s something you have to work at, especially as you get older.

My grandmother will be turning 88 next month and to this day, even with an ankle that gives her problems still walks round and round her facility, moving her arms up and down for exercise. She says it keeps her young and I have to agree. Now that the weather is warm, it’s the perfect time to get outside and get moving!

I just know these shoes will be on repeat this year.
