I’ve always been a jeans girl, I feel like most Coloradans are. My mom used to loooove her Levi’s. She had jeans, skirts, shorts, jeans that she turned into shorts, all the 501’s she could get her hands on. Of course Levi’s never completely left but now that they are back with a vengeance I want to cry thinking about how she ruthlessly gave them away years ago. Luckily I have a vintage pair of cropped jeans handed down to me from my Godmom and a pair of shorts (seen here) handed down by my cousin. Now that I have my own collection of Levi’s going, I think I’ll be holding onto them like a pack rat so that I can pass them down one day.
Bell sleeves, black and white, stripped AND off the shoulder? This top didn’t stand a chance of me not buying it! It’s so fun and flirty but it runs a little snug. I am wearing an xs and I kinda wish I had a small because it’s tight in the arms.
Tassel earrings are a must, especially when your hair is dirty and you throw it up in a messy pony.
Does anyone else’s dad give them a hard time about buying distressed denim? My dad always jokingly says, “Aw sweetie look at your jeans, do you need me to buy you some new ones without holes in them?” (insert eye roll). I love how even as I’m rapidly approaching thirty my dad and I still sometimes have that dad/kid relationship.
