Happy Friday!!
If you follow me on Snapchat (username AmberWilk2) you may have seen my story last weekend when I spent the day with my blogger babes shopping around and enjoying the Southlands outdoor shopping center. There were some seriously good sales going on and I scored some major deals. Below are the 5 clothing items I purchased for $100 and how I made 6 different looks with them!

Black H&M dress | Rust H&M jacket with hood | Cream ribbed crop tank and Rose Button down Blouse from Francesca’s |Black hi-rise shorts
We started our day at Legends Coffee for some coffee and light breakfast. Legends Coffee is a must stop at the Southlands, they have craft coffee, matcha lattes, delicious teas and the prettiest décor.
After fueling up, we stopped into H&M, American Eagle and Francesca’s to do some damage.
1. ASOS Western Belt | Hammit Los Angeles Nash Clutch c/o | 2. Timberland Kenniston Lace-up bootie | Steve Madden Tan Faux Suede Baseabll Cap | Black Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry satchel | 3. Silver Chain Bib statement Necklace | Prada Aviator Sunglasses | Splendid Heels | Rebecca Minkoff Vanity Saddle Bag |
Francesca’s is the cutest store with everything from accessories to cute coffee mugs and wall art. It’s really a girls paradise and the place to go if you’re looking for a cute gift. I swear there is always a sale going on there too. That day it was buy one get one 50% off on anything in the store! I got this chic ribbed tank and this soft rose colored button-up, again both great fall transition pieces.
I used to shop American Eagle back in high school and never thought I would go back, but I kept seeing cute American Eagle pieces on my insta feed and I had to go in and see what the deal was. I was pleasantly surprised that there were so many cute things! I also found a cute sweater and a bralette that I had to talk myself out of to stay under budget. I got these black cutoff shorts (which were buy 1 get one 50% off) that are so cute and stretchy. I am a petite 5’2” and they are a tad short so I might sway away if you have long legs.
4. Halogen Flat Brim Wool dark tan hat | Clare v foldover calf hair leopard clutch | Black Peep Toe Bootie |5. Black Steve Madden stecy sandal | Sole Society black fringe faux cross body bag | 6. Black air max 1 nike sneaker | YSL 59mm Sunglasses |Black Rebecca Minkoff Mini Perry satchel | Gold Hoop Earrings via 7 Charming Sisters | Marble Watch via Christian David |
The basic black dress from H&M isn’t sold online but comes in a bunch of good colors. It’s so versitile you can dress it up for a dinner date and cas’ it down for weekend errands. I also got this super cute jacket which (was on sale in store) is the perfect fall transition piece. Something I always keep in mind is that H&M gives you 15% off your purchases when you bring in and donate old clothes! Can’t go wrong saving money and helping a good cause!
We ended our day sampling food from some of the food choices at Southlands including Buffalo Wild Wings, Bad Daddy’s Burger Bar, Noodles & Company, McAlister’s Deli and Nothing Bundt Cakes.
Southlands is such a fun shopping center with tons of events including Sounds of Southlands, farmer’s market and movies in the square. It’s perfect for a family day, the fountains are lots of fun for the kiddos.
Be sure to mark your calendar for their 10 year anniversary party on October 8th.
