Happy Friday!
I don’t know about you guys, but I have really earned the weekend. This week has been jam-packed. I went to a blogger event last night where I got to preview the Fall Collection at Kendra Scott and got to hang with some of my favorite Denver bloggers. Every time I chat with these ladies I get so inspired. Because we are bloggers what you see on social media is obviously curated. So it’s a nice reminder that we all have work and lives and responsibilities outside of our blogs and sometimes it’s a lot to handle. Blogging takes A LOT of time, effort and creativity. You have to be creative and business savvy. You have to be on social media constantly. You have to look on point most of the time (currently working in my pjs at 10pm). Sometimes it’s overwhelming. At the same time, it’s so rewarding and wonderful. What is so great about getting real with these ladies and talking about our overwhelment at times is that it is clear that we all LOVE to blog. Otherwise we wouldn’t put in so much time and effort and add to our already busy schedules. I feel really lucky to have such a wonderful, inspiring and supportive group of women around me.
Now on to this look from Apricot Lane. I pretty much died over the pretty lavender color of this dress. And that back and lace details! I mean, it’s perfect. I couldn’t decide how to style it. On one hand I would totally wear this during the day but it’s also perfect as a night look. So I did the first look with a boater hat and my go to studded sandals for a more casual vibe and then ditched the hat and threw on strappy heels for a night look. I liked the contrast of the black and lavender but it also looks great with softer hues like white and nude.
Always,
Amber
