I am a huge smoothie lover, especially in the summertime. I have been blending all kinds of new ingredients together lately. Ever since I got my juicer a few months ago and have been juicing regularly my taste buds have started to change. I used to not like ginger very much, but I know how good it is for you, so I started to add a little bit to each juice and now I feel like I’m putting ginger in everything! Including this delicious mango basil smoothie.
Ingredients:
1 Banana (I like mine frozen)
1 1/2 cup Mango
Handful of Spinach
Fresh Basil Leaves*
Grated Ginger*
Handful of Blueberries (optional)
1 cup Almond Milk
*The great thing about smoothies is you can add or subtract ingredients according to your taste. I like to taste more of the mango and basil so I add the most of those and then throw in a few blueberries for a hint of flavor and some ginger for a little kick. Enjoy!
